Pride March brought together hundreds of people in Faro

The march started in front of João de Deus Secondary School

 

Hundreds of people participated this Saturday, May 27, in the 4th edition of the Algarve Pride March, an LGBTQI+ event in support of the fight against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia. 

The march began in front of João de Deus Secondary School (Liceu de Faro), went down Avenida 5 de Outubro and Rua de Santo António, ending up at Doca.

On the stage, set up downtown, the manifesto for the 4th edition of this initiative was read, followed by performances by artists drag.

Several associations participated in the march, such as MAPS, Xis and Sê Mais Sê Melhor.
