An 18-year-old youth was arrested this Thursday, May 18, in Portimão, on suspicion of aggravated robbery and possession of a prohibited weapon.
According to the Judiciary Police, which in this case worked together with the Portimão PSP, the robbery took place last December.
The detainee and another individual, already arrested for the same facts, went to the commercial establishment with a firearm and "stole several bottles of alcoholic beverages valued at hundreds of euros", after which they fled.
During the robbery, "they wounded the victim in the head with the butt of the gun, causing minor injuries" that required medical treatment.
The detainee, without a job, will be present at the first judicial interrogation for the application of coercive measures.
