Elderly people from Alvor call for solidarity by joining the EMARP electronic invoice 

For each customer who adheres to the electronic invoice, 1 euro will be donated to the Home and Day Center of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Alvor

The Municipal Water and Waste Company of Portimão (EMARP) activated the solidarity campaign to adhere to the electronic invoice, entitled “For a Senior Smile”, which stars four users of the Home and Day Center of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Alvor.

According to the company, the objective of the campaign is to "honor the county's seniors, promote the importance of improving their quality of life and encourage people from Portimão to contribute to this social cause by joining the electronic invoice".

For one year, for each customer who adheres to the electronic invoice, 1 euro will be donated to the institution. The same applies to customers who subscribe to the method of payment through Direct Debit.

The amount raised is intended to equip a space to provide physiotherapeutic care, with a view to improving the health and quality of life of users of the Home and Day Center of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Alvor.

«Physiotherapy for the elderly is a fundamental tool to prevent illness, improve their physical condition and promote the general well-being of the elderly, contributing to a happier life», recalls the company from Portimão, noting that the campaign will continue. until March next year.

The previous protocol, in favor of the requalification project of the playground of A Catraia, raised 10 euros.

The campaign had the collaboration of GIROMÉDIAS, through the provision of positions in the network of mupis existing in the Municipality.
