The body of a man was found on the morning of Thursday, May 25, on Peneco beach, in Albufeira.
The alert was given at 7:30 am by municipal officials.
Immediately, “elements from the Albufeira Maritime Police Station, Albufeira Firefighters, INEM and the Judiciary Police” went to the location, says the PJ.
Death was later declared by the INEM doctor, and the body was later transported to the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences in Portimão by the Albufeira Firefighters.
The Albufeira Maritime Police Station took care of the incident.
The causes of death are still unknown.
