A 23-year-old man was arrested in the act, on Sunday, May 7, for drug trafficking, in Quarteira, announced the GNR.
According to the authorities, the man was detected during a patrolling action, for having “suspicious behavior”.
After a personal search of the suspect, «it was found that he was in possession of narcotics, which led to his arrest».
Searches at the residences of the presumed trafficker led to the seizure of 33 doses of cocaine, 4,5 doses of hashish, five mobile phones, two knives, two gold threads and 232 euros in cash.
The detainee was made an accused and the facts referred to the Judicial Court of Loulé.
The action was reinforced by the Intervention Detachment (DI) of the Territorial Command of Faro.
