Gas leak in pipeline forces primary school to be evacuated in Montenegro

A leak in a gas pipeline in the street forced the evacuation of the Primary School and Kindergarten of Montenegro on the morning of this Friday, May 26th (Faro).

Ao Sul Informação, a source from the Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of the Algarve said that “400 children” were removed from this school as a precaution.

The alert was given "via 112", said the same source.

The Montenegro Primary School and Kindergarten is located next to the Continente supermarket.

On site are the Firefighters, GNR and Civil Protection, a total of 21 operators and nine vehicles.
