Farense beat Tondela this Sunday, May 28, by 3-1, in the last game of the season.
The Algarve team thus celebrated another victory, at home, and the consecration of rise to the First League, which was reached last Sunday, following the defeat of Estrela de Amadora against Nacional.
Today, despite having started to lose, with a goal by Rafael Barbosa (Tondela), at 2 minutes, the Algarve turned around with goals from Cristian Ponde (13 and 23 minutes) and Mattheus Oliveira (42 minutes).
Farense finishes the championship in second place, with 69 points.
This Monday, May 29th, the athletes, technical team and managers of Farense will be received by the City Council of Faro for a tribute.
