Two young people helped after suffering sprains at Praia da Rocha

Aided by elements of the “SeaWatch” project

Two young people who suffered sprains were helped this Monday, May 1, by elements of the “SeaWatch” project, in Praia da Rocha, in Portimão

The first situation happened at 18:16 pm and involved a 23-year-old who sprained his knee while practicing soccer on the beach.

The young man was transported to the hospital.

At 19:30 pm, a new alert was received from the lifeguards, involving a 19-year-old girl who had fallen on the beach and sprained her ankle.

The young woman was assisted by the elements of the “SeaWatch” project who transported the victim to the Portimão Fire Brigade ambulance, where they subsequently immobilized the ankle.

This young woman was also transported to the hospital.
