Daniel Santana was re-elected this Saturday, May 27th, as president of UGT/Algarve for the next four years.
The congress, under the motto: “United by Work for the Benefit of the Region”, took place at the Library of Faro and was attended by almost a hundred congressmen representing around 20 affiliated unions and numerous guests.
Daniel Santana gave the guarantee that UGT-Algarve, in cooperation with the affiliated unions, "will continue to demand better living conditions for workers in the region and for their families".
In the closing session of the event, there were guests from the business confederations, representatives of the political-union areas and top leaders of some unions.
