CCDR/Algarve organizes training on “Ethics and Culture of Integrity in Public Management”

40 workers will participate in the initiative

The Commission for Coordination and Regional Development (CCDR) of the Algarve will promote, this Monday and Tuesday, 22 and 23 May, a face-to-face training session on “Ethics and Culture of Integrity in Public Management and Prevention of Risks of Fraud and Corruption". 

This training will be given by António Maia, a trainer at INA, a professor at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Lisbon and a member of the Court of Auditors, with a vast curriculum and experience in the areas in question.

The action, of a theoretical-practical nature, will address ethics and integrity in organizations, ethics and public management - conflicts of interest, fraud and corruption, risks of fraud and corruption - promotion of ethics, integrity and risk prevention and methodological care in the preparation of plans to prevent the risk of corruption and related offences.

40 workers in public functions will participate in the initiative from the various organic units of CCDR Algarve, as well as from decentralized public administration services.

This action is carried out by CCDR Algarve, within the scope of its Training and Capacity Building Program for Public Administration, which is co-financed by the Algarve Operational Program – CRESC Algarve2020.
