Carolina Deslandes will give a concert tomorrow in Lagoa, at the Parque de Feiras e Exposições, at the opening of the 2nd edition of the Youth Festival. The performance of this artist who has many fans among young people is scheduled for 21:30, on the main stage.
Although admission is free, the organization calls for the public to donate, at the entrance, non-perishable food, clothes and/or toys, as this is a social event.
The Youth Festival takes place between the 1st and 4th of June, between 18 pm and 00 am, at the Parque de Feiras e Exposições de Lagoa, and its program includes concerts, children's entertainment, inflatables, recreational, cultural and sports activities, Sports Gala, Neon Run race and sale of local products.
In addition to Carolina Deslandes' performance, there will be other concerts, with Deejay Telio, Ana Lucia Caiano, ripsyhell, among others.
This 2nd edition of the Youth Festival will have a strong cultural commitment, in a diversified program and in an intense program, with the exhibition of what is best done in Lagoa, in the different areas of community action.
In its first edition in 2022, the European Year of Youth, this Festival was an initiative of the Class of 9th B, of the Grupo de Escolas Padre António Martins de Oliveira de Lagoa, which presented it through the My Polis project. It is an event that had, and continues to have, the main objective of promoting solidarity with the most vulnerable people.
The Youth Festival also has, as a second objective, the dissemination and sale of products by local craftsmen and traders, whose dynamization of the restaurant spaces will be the responsibility of the Associations based in the municipality, in an event aimed at young people and their families in solidarity.
Thus, this year there will be about 70 exhibitors, with representation of the municipal associative movement, presence of education and training entities, as well as local artisans and traders, with the aim of promoting products and the local economy.
