“Vilas em Movimento” is the latest social project by Galp and its Foundation which will be inaugurated on the 25th of May, Thursday, in Alcoutim and Martim Longo.
The session will be attended by the mayor Osvaldo Gonçalves, the director of Renewable Energies at Galp, Carlos Relancio, and the executive director of the Galp Foundation, Diogo Sousa.
Sustainable mobility and social inclusion are the main axes of action of “Vilas em Movimento”, a partnership that has the support of the municipality and Associação Odiana.
In Martim Longo, a Mobility Space will be inaugurated, while in Alcoutim it is a system of shared electric bicycles.
The project «seeks to serve the municipality’s population by promoting social cohesion and combating loneliness with a space for physical rehabilitation, health, arts and crafts, and a network of shared electric bicycles».
