The 1st Tournament Monte Gordo International Cup, which brings together 32 teams and 400 athletes, will be held on the 17th and 18th of June at the Sports Complex of Monte Gordo.
The athletes will come from all over the Algarve, Alentejo and neighboring Spain.
«This event aims to boost sport in the village of Monte Gordo and throughout the county», says the organization, in charge of Associação Escolas Futebol Monte Gordo 2019.
The aim is for the initiative to become «a reference in youth football tournaments in the Algarve», he concludes.
