21st Ria Formosa March-Race is already this Sunday

This initiative will feature two routes (one longer, 10,7 kilometers and the other shorter, 7,2 kilometers).

The 21st Ria Formosa March-Race will take place this Sunday, May 21, starting from Vale das Almas, in Faro. 

This initiative will feature two routes (one longer, 10,7 kilometers and the other shorter, 7,2 kilometers).

The match is scheduled for 10:00 am, with the concentration of participants scheduled for an hour before and the warm-up will take place at 9:50 am, being promoted by the Judo Clube do Algarve.

All those who join this action will have the possibility, in addition to taking part in the sports competition, to develop different parallel activities, ranging from health screenings (with the measurement of Blood Pressure, Glycemia and Cholesterol, carried out by the Care Unit in Community – ARS Algarve/ACES Central), to musical shows, with the collaboration of the Folkloric Group of Faro.

A “children's entertainment area” and a food court will also be available to all.

The event will have the partnership of the Regional Directorate of the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth. It will have the support of the Parish Council of Montenegro, ARS-Algarve/ ACES Central/ Community Care Unit, Auchan, FAGAR, Judo Clube do Algarve, Moto-club of Faro, UAlg/ESEC, Folkloric Group of Faro, Cacial, Sapadores de Fire Brigade Faro, Cruz Lusa – Humanitarian Association of Firefighters Faro and the Municipal Civil Protection Service.
