Quinta do Freixo promotes event dedicated to regenerative agriculture

Program includes dinner and documentary screening

“The advantages of regenerative agriculture” is the theme of the event that Quinta do Freixo, located in the municipality of Loulé, promotes on the 29th of April. 

The program includes a visit to the farm, during which the holistic management and regenerative agriculture project developed on that property will be explained.

Afterwards, participants have access to a dinner. The menu includes a lamb dish raised on organic pasture grown at Quinta do Freixo.

Next, the documentary “Ganado o Desierto”, winner of several international awards, is shown.

The event ends with a moment of debate with the presence of several specialists in this matter, including Allan Savory, creator of the concept and methodology of holistic management and an unavoidable figure in the field of soil regeneration.

The program starts at 16 pm, with a reception at Quinta do Freixo, at 00 pm is the walking tour of Quinta do Freixo and at 17 pm dinner. At 00:19 pm, the documentary “Ganado o Desierto” is shown and at 00:20 pm there is a debate with Allan Savory, founder of the Savory Institute; Daniela Ibarra-Howell, CEO and co-founder of the Savory Institute; Gustavo Alés, president of Alejab; and Luís Silva, managing partner of Quinta do Freixo

Participation in this event is limited to 40 seats. Entries cost 40 euros and can be formalized through this form.
