The photography exhibition “Rhythm of Colours”, with works by artists Saïdou Dicko, Derrick Boateng and Thandiwe Muriu, opens on April 7th, at the gallery “In The Pink”, in Loulé.
«Through their works, the invited artists, Saïdou Dicko, Derrick Boateng and Thandiwe Muriu, investigate abundant images that bring the public closer to the bustle of busy streets, the joyful symphony of children playing, the drums roaring in the distance, the poetic silences the backyard of a family home or the rhythm of the waves lapping by the sea», says the gallery, in a note sent to the press.
«With bright colors, hidden characters or contrasting textures, the artists' works form a kind of visual score that invites the public to examine the images in an immersive way», he adds.
The three artists exhibit their work for the first time in a Portuguese gallery.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Friday, between 11:00 am and 19:00 pm and on Saturdays between 10:00 am and 14:00 pm.
