Pakistani man dies on Portimao railway bridge

A 33-year-old man of Pakistani nationality died this Wednesday night, April 5, in an accident on the Portimão railway bridge. 

A source from the Algarve Sub-regional Command told Agência Lusa that the “alert for the train being run over by the train traveling east-west was given at 22:30”.

Circulation was interrupted, but resumed at 00:05 this Thursday, the 6th.

Elements of INEM and local firefighters were on site, with a total of 13 operators supported by five vehicles.
