Pensioners will have, as of July, a 3,57% increase in their pensions, announced today Antonio Costa, at the end of an extraordinary Council of Ministers that approved new income support measures.
"Following the Stability Program [presented today] today, we held an extraordinary Council of Ministers that approved an interim increase in pensions from next July, in the amount of 3,57%", said the Prime Minister.
António Costa explained that, in addition to the increase already implemented in January, this new measure will mean that «during this second semester, pensioners will already have their pension updated to the amount resulting from the basic law of Social Security».
