Farense beats Oliveirense and puts pressure on Estrela and Académico

Algarve team has 51 points

Farense won 2-1 against Oliveirense this Friday, April 14, in a match for the 28th round of the II Football League, played at Estádio Carlos Osório, in Oliveira de Azeméis. 

The first half went well for the Algarve team, which, with a goal by Cláudio Falcão, in the 24th minute, managed to go into the break winning.

In the second half, at 62 minutes, Serginho scored from the penalty spot and equalized the result of the match. Thirsty to win, Farense didn't give the home team time to breathe and five minutes later they scored again. Zach Muscat's goal dictated the final result of the game.

With this victory, the Algarve move up to second place, with 51 points, the condition, and put pressure on Estrela da Amadora (50 points) and Académico de Viseu (48), who play tomorrow and Monday.
