ETIC_Algarve promotes Design Day with lectures, work exhibition and networking

The lectures will have a common theme, “Creative paths”

ETIC_Algarve celebrates International Design Day with the “Design Day”, an event dedicated to this creative area, in its professional aspect. It will be on the 27th of Abirl, the day on which the school based in Faro will promote lectures, exhibition of works and networking.

This date has been celebrated since 1995 to recognize the importance of Design as a form of visual communication and its contribution to global culture, and is an opportunity for the community of Designers around the world to come together.

The guest speakers are three Portuguese Communication Designers, whose work has an international impact: Miguel Neiva, creator of ColorADD, a color identification system for color blind people, which is being implemented worldwide, Cátia Oliveira, creative director of Vans in London, and also Sandra Lopes, creative director of the multi-award winning agency Kobu.

The lectures will have a common theme, “Creative paths”, and will be followed by questions asked by the audience. The event will end with a networking moment, promoting close contact between students and the job market, something that characterizes the philosophy of this school.

“Design Day” is an idea by trainer Rita Sampaio developed in collaboration with ETIC_Algarve, with the creation of the visual identity by André Cortes, a graduate of the Communication and Multimedia Design course at this school.

The event is open to all professionals, students and those curious about this topic. Registration is free, but mandatory, as places are limited to the capacity of the room. the inscription must be done by clicking here.
