Easter is synonymous with chocolate, right? We all think about buying a cake, an egg or almonds. To beautify and sweeten our Easter table, today I leave two Instagram pages that make “eat and cry for more” cakes and desserts.

On the page Honey with L, We found a little bit of everything. At Easter, the famous spoon eggs are made. You can buy a 350g egg with whatever filling you like: kinder, oreo, strawberry bonbon, snickers vegan, among others.

can buy one mix of 3 eggs and choose the flavors you like best, or the box of 6 mini eggs of 50 grams and get to know all the fillings available. For the little ones, you can order a “Confectioner Kit” that brings the products to make your own egg or you can also order an “Egg Hunt Kit”. Prices vary between 18 and 26 euros.

On the page Luli's Cakes there are four specific Easter dessert menus. The “Menu Cenourinha” serves 10/12 people, and consists of a carrot cake with chocolate brigadeiro and drip of 70% cocoa.

The “Menu J. Rabbit” serves 6/8 people and includes a vanilla cake, drizzled with coffee, mascarpone cream, vanilla and coffee, finished with cocoa powder. The “Enchanted Forest Menu” serves 8/10 people and includes cocoa pool cake black, curd raspberry, cremaux 70% chocolate and fresh red fruits. When it comes to pastry, the most sophisticated (and beautiful) boutique café in the Algarve cannot be left out. A tea house located in the lobby of the Hotel Tivoli Marina, in Vilamoura.

O glee boutique cafe stands out for its unique porcelain pieces full of refinement, very comfortable pastel colored furniture, marble tables and a feminine, elegant and welcoming atmosphere. It's a boutique café where French pastry satisfies all chocolate lovers and beyond.

This Easter, the Head he prepared some cakes/desserts that remain in our memory because of how beautiful they are, but he gives us a «friendly piece of advice: they taste as good as they look!». You can visit Glee and have lunch there or, if you prefer, you can order for takeaways. The options are varied and you can choose between chocolate egg gold, spring chocolate egg (milk chocolate), ruby chocolate egg, among others.

Check it all out on Facebook Glee.

We end this list of suggestions with a very affordable and very pleasant option. If you don't want to go to restaurants, hotels or cafes, and prefer the outdoors and peace of mind, how about a picnic?

If you choose a beautiful place, everything is easier. There are some suitable and prepared places for this purpose and others that are not so much, but it is something that we can easily solve. I leave some suggestions that you can research and see if you like.

In Lagos, we have Ponta da Piedade, which offers a breathtaking view.

In Loulé, Trafal beach has a lot of shade and tends to attract many fans. You can also visit the Fonte Férrea, in São Brás de Alportel, which is a very well prepared place to receive picnics and families.

In the municipality of Lagoa, Fontes de Estômbar is a very beautiful place.

If you prefer, you can have a picnic on the beach at sunset. I guarantee you won't regret it.

For this program you don't need to do a lot of work. A selection of cheeses, sandwiches, a mix of snacks, fruit, water, juices... just choose what you like best, put it in a basket, a towel and you're all set.

If this was your plan, don't forget to collect your rubbish, nature thanks you!

I wish you a good Easter and enjoy!

Note: There will certainly be, throughout the Algarve, other restaurants, hotels and places with options for this festive season. If this is one of those cases, please send us your information via email .
