The Algar Motocross Circuit, in Cortelha, will be open on the 16th of April to host a Motocross Track Day, allowing lovers of the sport to train or practice this motor sport.
The Associação dos Amigos da Cortelha is preparing the layout of the Algar Motocross Circuit to host the Motocross Championship Centre/South of Portugal, on the 7th of May, «carrying out a lot of preparation work and improvement of jumps and curves, as well as the creation of new show areas», they refer in a note.
Track Day starts at 9:00 am and will receive not only participants but lovers of the sport.
The Associação dos Amigos da Cortelha, responsible for organizing it, recalls that the Circuito Motocross Algar features a route located between two valleys, in the middle of Serra do Caldeirão, where the public has the opportunity to enjoy a panoramic view of the entire track.
This is yet another organization of the Associação dos Amigos da Cortelha, with the support of Loulé City Council, Salir e Algar Parish Council.
The organization has the support of the Municipality of Loulé, Parish Council of Salir and Algar.
