The council of the Left Bloc of Faro is calling for popular mobilization to ensure the reversal of the increases in FAGAR tariffs.
According to the party, the recommendations aimed at reversing the brutal increases in FAGAR's tariff "do not guarantee a downward revision of tariffs".
The Bloco de Esquerda regrets that the three recommendations were not approved by all those elected since they all point in the same direction, «the reversal of the brutal increases in tariffs for water, waste water and solid urban waste».
The Council of Faro do Bloco Esquerda recalls that only the Municipal Assembly can approve recommendations and says that «in the present case there are no signs that the executive will take them into account».
