Associação de Dança de Lagos wins 16 trophies in the “All Dance Portugal” competition

The initiative brought together more than 2800 dancers from 120 schools and dance companies across the country

A Associação de Dança de Lagos won 16 trophies in the “All Dance Portugal”, a competition that took place in April, at Europarque, in Santa Maria da Feira. 

The initiative brought together more than 2800 dancers from 120 schools and dance companies across the country.

Considered one of the biggest dance events in the country, both in terms of audience and participants, All Dance Portugal has grown from year to year with a view to inclusion, promotion and even teaching of this art.

«This 4th edition included 30 styles of dance with dancers from 5 to 70 years of age from new alldancer, students and professionals», says Câmara de Lagos.

The autarchy highlights the «award-winning performances in classical and ethnic dance by the choreographer Marina Khametova and the choreographic work by Yuri Stroganov, choreographer of the performance that won gold in the solo of the student Alexandra Belova with Baranhya».

For this month of April, the ADL has one more surprise prepared.

Taking place on the 28th and 29th of April (19:30 pm) at the Centro Cultural de Lagos, the show “Dance to Art” will present an interpretation of 24 names in world painting by choreographers Marina Khametova, Rob van der Woud, Yuri Stroganov, Tess Sanders and Tatiana Ursu.
