28 dancers, aged 3 to 23, from the Splash Dance School of VRSA and Faro participated, between the 1st and 6th of April, in the national competition All Dance Portugal edition 2023, which took place in Santa Maria da Feira.
«With great joy, everyone was qualified for the world final that will take place in Orlando, in November», announces the School, which in this competition collected more than a dozen prizes.
The prizes achieved were: First prize Megacrew Commercial – student level – youth category; Urban Show first prize – Student Open – pre-youth category; Urban Show First Prize – Student Open – Youth category; Second Hip-hop Prize – Student Duet – Youth category (Margarida Botequilha, Santiago Xavier); Second Prize Ethnic Dance – Student Duet – Youth category (Margarida Botequilha, Santiago Xavier); Second prize All Dance Show – student level – youth category; Second prize Ethnic dance – student level – pre-youth level; Open third prize – student level – pre-youth, youth and adult; Third Contemporary prize – pre-mini – new all dancers; Third prize Ethnic dance – student level – youth category; Third Arabian Dance Prize – student solo – youth category and Third Arabic Dance Prize – student duet – youth category.
André Lopes also received the special award for Best Young Dancer.
