The young Algarve team that participated in the 45th National Skills Portugal Portimão 2023 Championship, which took place from the 7th to the 12th of March, was recognized on the 14th of April in a ceremony at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão.
At 15:00 the ceremony began with the showing of a short film to remember this whole experience, then proceeded to hand out certificates to the competitors, of which the best competitor of the Algarve team stands out – Nanci Silva Tomás, gold medal in Aestheticism.
The technical teams, both regional and from World Skills Portugal, the team of judges and the team of infrastructure supervisors were also honored.
There was also the presence of training entities and schools, represented by competitors, all partner entities, sponsors and security teams and organization of the championship.
At the end of the ceremony, there was a small snack prepared by students of the Secondary Level Adult Education and Training Course (EFA NS Course) – Kitchen and Pastry Technician, from the Barlavento Employment and Professional Training Centre.
The snack was served by the students of the EFA NS Course – Técnico Restaurant Bar of the Employment and Professional Training Center of Faro.
In addition, the public could watch a musical moment performed by the Tuna from Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes.
