Algarvio Luís Costa is 4th in the long distance race of the Paracycling World Cup

The portimonense Luís Costa was at the “door” of the podium in the Paracycling World Cup, when he classified in the fourth position of the distance test for the H5 class of this competition, which took place in Maniago, Italy, yesterday, the 22nd.

In a race of 68 kilometers won by the Dutchman Mitch Valize, Luís Costa was in the fight for the podium. The runner from the National Team was 5m07s behind the winner, but just 26 seconds away from the bronze medal.

Mitch Valize was joined on the podium by compatriot Tim de Vries and Poland's Krzystof Plewa, who were 4m30s and 4m41s, respectively.

Flávio Pacheco, an athlete from Ermidas do Sado, represented Portugal in the class H4 long distance race, also with 68 kilometers.
