23rd Portimão Photographic Race maintains face-to-face and online options

Registration for both modalities is now open.

This year's edition of the Portimão Photographic Race maintains, as in 2022, the face-to-face modalities, scheduled for May 20, as well as the online option, the latter inspired by the motto of Freedom.

Considered the most important competition of its kind south of the Tagus, the already traditional initiative of the Museum of Portimão aims to promote a current and creative look from enthusiasts and friends of photography.

In the online version, there are four themes proposed and inspired by the ideals of April, namely: “Signs of Freedom”; “Streets of Freedom”; “Is this Freedom?”; and “Free as the wind”. The photos of this special modality must be sent until the 26th of June.

As for the face-to-face modality, which will take place through the streets of the city and the municipality between 9:00 am and 21:00 pm on the 20th of May, the themes will be provided to the competitors throughout the day.

The Museum of Portimão, responsible for organizing the competition, is already accepting registrations for both modalities, and registration can be made by clicking here. Interested parties can register for both races or just one.

The 23rd Portimão Photographic Race, whose regulation can be consulted here, is part of the commemorations of the 15th anniversary of the Museum of Portimão, inaugurated on the 17th of May 2008.

Its media partner is Sul Informação and the support of the following companies and associations: Group of Friends of the Museum of Portimão, Ocean Revival, CLCC, Restinga and Association – Núcleo de Amigos Fotógrafos do Algarve.
