Helping to regenerate the Boião-Azilheira Fountain Route”, in São Marcos da Serra (Silves), which was devastated by last summer’s fire, is the objective of an environmental volunteering action that Cooperativa QRER will promote on March 26 , starting at 9:30 am.
«Because the scars of the earth need the warmth of hands together, we invite you to join us in this Action to support the natural regeneration of this place and collaborate in the maintenance of the trail in the unaffected area», calls the cooperative.
The meeting point for this action, which should last about five hours, will be next to Café do Boião, on IC1 (coordinates: 37.393032, -8.339290).
Volunteers must take “shoes and comfortable sports clothing adapted to the weather conditions, lunch and water”.
