A 19-year-old German girl was rescued, this Monday, March 27, after suffering a dislocated leg after landing in a kayak, on Cão Raivoso beach, in Lagoa.
This is a beach accessible only by sea.
The alert was received at 14:24, through a popular.
The Ferragudo Lifeguard was sent to the location, with members of the Portimão Maritime Police Local Command on board.
According to the National Maritime Authority (AMN), the young woman had suspected dislocation of a leg after disembarking on the beach.
The victim was then transported to Benagil beach, where the Lagoa Volunteer Firefighters were waiting, who transported her to the hospital.
