Ivandro, Diogo Piçarra, Danni Gato, Bárbara Bandeira and Rosinha are some of the names attending the 36th Academic Week of the Algarve, which takes place from the 28th of April to the 6th of May, at the Complexo Desportivo da Penha, in Faro.
The official poster for the great celebration of Algarve students was released this Thursday, March 30, by the Academic Association of the University of the Algarve (AAUAlg), at an arraial.
As usual, the Academic Week begins with the traditional Monumental Opening Serenade, on Thursday, April 27, in the heart of Largo da Sé.
The first day of Wonderland, on Friday, the 28th, will feature performances by Mishlawi, Chico da Tina and Mizzy Miles.
On Saturday the 29th, the day for the blessing of portfolios for the finalists, the Academic Week of the Algarve will receive Bárbara Bandeira and Ivandro, who will sing together the song “Como tu”.
The night will close with the BeatBombers.
This year, one of the novelties is that Sunday features stronger names than usual. As Monday, May 1st, is a public holiday, Associação Académica bet on Diogo Piçarra, Soraia Ramos and Putzgrilla.
For the holiday, the 1st (Monday), the poster features Miguel Azevedo and DJ Mr Kool.
On Tuesday, the 2nd, popular music will be back with Ruben Filipe and Rosinha from the Algarve and, for Wednesday, the 3rd, there will be performances by rappers Real Punch and Kristoman and Dillaz.
As usual, Thursday (4th) is tunas day.
For the penultimate day of Academic Week (5th), Friday, the Academic Association chose, as artists, Kapa Jotta, T-Rex, author of songs like “É thus”, and Baile das Novinhas.
The Algarve students' party ends on Saturday the 6th, with three more concerts, guaranteed by Alcool Club, Deejay Telio and the Algarvean Danni Gato.
