São Brás de Alportel hosts event that will raise money to help project in Africa

Raising funds for a project that wants to help create clean and sustainable water systems in The Gambia, Africa. This is the main objective of the “Live Music for Water” event, which will feature two bands from Bristol (UK), and will take place this Sunday, March 26, at 15 pm, at the Costume Museum, in São Brás de Alportel. 

“Live Music for Water” is the result of a partnership between Rob Hygate (CTO We Give Water) and the Algarve producer Mauro Amaral, with the technical production of Retro Sound Machine.

The event will feature two emerging bands from Bristol, UK: “Long Tonic” and “Horses on the Beach”.

Entrance costs 10 euros and there will also be a collection of funds and donations.

The initiative has the support of the Friends of the Museu do Traje, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel, Corotelo Café and Portugal Insider.
