The rehabilitation of the porous concrete pavement and wall on Rua da Praia, in Armação de Pêra, has already been completed.
The intervention represents an investment by the Municipality of Silves of around 30 thousand euros.
According to the municipality, the work included "removal of the existing porous concrete in the damaged areas, execution of a new floor in the same material and finished with paint, in an approximate length of 185 metres".
In addition, the stones that make up the wall were surveyed and replaced, and a new support base was built.
«This intervention improves pedestrian circulation in the intervention area and pedestrian safety, as well as contributing to the improvement of the urban environment», the City Council also mentions.
