The Feira de Doces d'Avó, organized by the Municipality of Alcoutim, is back, on the 7th and 8th of April, between 14 pm and 00 pm, to liven up Easter.
The event has free admission and has workshops dedicated to the youngest, such as painting eggs and making folars, modeling balloons, magic tricks and face painting.
The program also includes musical animation by the “Banda da Aldeia” and the “Runtátá” Band, as well as a Pinha dance, with the artist Sandrine, from 21:30 on Friday, the 7th.
The event annually attracts thousands of national and Spanish visitors. The event is an incentive for the production and sale of sweets typical of the Algarve mountains and is already a reference in the calendar of events in the region.
