Portimão Museum hosts gathering on World Water Day with Pedro Inácio and Gonçalo Gomes

«Promote reflection on issues related to our water resources and heritage, their sustainability, a more balanced distribution and democratic accessibility»

This Wednesday, March 22nd, at 18:00, the Portimão Museum will host a meeting with Pedro Inácio and Gonçalo Duarte Gomes.

Marking March 22, World Water Day, a date established by the United Nations (UN) in 1993, the GAMP – Group of Friends of the Museum of Portimão intends, through its first gathering of 2023, «to promote a reflection on issues related to our water resources and heritage, their sustainability, a more balanced distribution and democratic accessibility».

Taking advantage of the opportune exhibition “Aqueducts of Portugal”, on display at the Museum of Portimão until March 26, GAMP invited its author, the museologist and conservator of the Water Museum Pedro Inácio, having also invited the landscape architect Gonçalo Duarte Gomes, president of the Algarve Regional Section of the Portuguese Association of Landscape Architects, for a contribution on the Algarve reality, in this water theme.
