Maria do Céu Antunes and Helena Carreiras, ministers of Agriculture and Food and of National Defence, respectively, were in Tavira on Wednesday to visit different places in the municipality, within the scope of the “Governo + Próxima” initiative.
Maria do Céu Antunes was in the parish of Conceição e Cabanas, for a visit to the farm Nuvem Maravilha, which produces small fruits, belonging to the MadreFruta Group.
Helena Carreiras, on the other hand, visited Messe de Tavira, Infantry Regiment nº 1 – Detachment of Tavira and the Army Public Service Office.
«With these meetings, it was possible for the city council to make known the perspectives, challenges and concerns of the Municipality», according to the Tavira Council.
