Ana Abrunhosa, Minister of Territorial Cohesion, will participate, this Friday, March 24th, in the official opening of the Contraband Festival, in Alcoutim.

The event will last until Sunday, the 26th.

This year's edition will have an enlarged venue, new features in the programme, but also the return of one of the main attractions: the pedestrian river bridge that will link Alcoutim (Portugal) to Sanlucar, in Spain.

This year, a competition will be launched with several prizes for those who dress in the old fashioned way.

Visitors are invited to participate dressed at the time, based on the context of the 30s and 40s.

The river beach of Alcoutim will host the Craft Beer Market these days.

With the convenience of visitors in mind, the Municipality presents two new proposals for parking, providing a “Come and Go Contrabando” service.

Thus, there will be bus services, every hour, for those who park in the Industrial Zone of Balurcos or in the EN122-1 park.
