Entries have already opened for the Tavira Gastronomy Festivals, which take place in April, May, September, October and November.
The Festival de Gastronomia do Mar marks the start of this cycle, between 28 April and 28 May, and is aimed at all catering and similar establishments in the municipality (except self-service and ready-to-eat).
Those interested in participating must register by the 20th of March, through the own form.
This Festival's menu should consist of a starter, main course (seafood and Mediterranean Diet ingredients) and dessert (regional ingredients, it is mandatory to specify).
The establishments, whose menus are based on tapas and snacks, will be able to adapt the menu to the rules of the Festival.
After the Sea Gastronomy Festival, between the 7th and 10th of September, the Flavors of the Mediterranean are celebrated, coinciding with the Mediterranean Diet Fair. Registrations here
From the 27th of October to the 26th of November, the Serrana Gastronomy Festival takes place. Registrations here
