The project team, which will lead the launch of the tender for the construction of the Hospital Central do Algarve, will be announced "later this month", guaranteed the Minister of Health.
Manuel Pizarro was speaking this Thursday, March 2, at the briefings, after the meeting of the decentralized Council of Ministers that took place at the Coordination and Regional Development Commission of the Algarve, in Faro.
According to the Minister of Health, the competition will not "start from scratch", but from the "assumptions of the previous one", although this one is "15 years old and needs an update".
In addition to the project team, the Government will also appoint, later this month, a «monitoring commission» for the construction of the new Hospital that will involve «regional entities».
The objective, said the minister, is for the «region to review itself in the way the process will take place».
Manuel Pizarro's announcements come after the minister has also guaranteed that the tender for the construction of the Hospital Central do Algarve will be launched later this year.
