The Adapted Sports Group of the Center for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the South (CMR Sul) of the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve (CHUA) organized a Padel sports meeting, on Friday, March 24, at the Clube de Ténis e Padel de São Brás de Alportel.
The meeting was organized by the Adapted Sports Group of CMRSul together with Sporting Clube Farense (two Padel instructors), the Tennis and Padel Club of São Brás de Alportel through the free provision of two Padel courts and the Sports Office of the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel.
According to the organization, «the objectives of the meeting were to sensitize participants to the importance of practicing regular physical activity (regardless of connection to a specific sport), to sensitize entities to the importance of adapting spaces/equipment to the needs of participants and to promote moments of relaxation and active participation of all those interested».
