Free and certified training under the “Training + Next” program began this Wednesday, the 29th, at the Center for Arts and Crafts in São Brás de Alportel.
Digital marketing was the theme chosen to start a set of training courses, which are the result of a protocol signed between the School of Hospitality and Tourism of the Algarve and the City Council of São Brás de Alportel in July 2022.
In front of the group of trainees, mainly merchants and businessmen from São Paulo, the director of the School of Hospitality and Tourism of the Algarve Paula Vicente highlighted the synergy that has been possible to establish in the municipality of São Paulo, saying she expected that the training courses are well accepted by the public and he underlined the commitment of his team and the partnership with the municipality to put training in relevant and useful areas that can respond to the different needs of trainees.
The vice-president of the City Council Marlene Guerreiro was also present at the first moment of the training and praised the “Training + Next” program for being developed from a broad perspective of what training should be to improve the Algarve as a tourist destination, by direct training not only to direct workers in the tourism sector but to all traders, businessmen and the community.
«We have a real outdoor shopping center with excellent shops and services, which is a fundamental attraction for the development of tourism», he said.
