The Association of Entrepreneurs of the Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António (AECV), in partnership with the City Council, will develop the event «White Sunday – Sunday Stock Out» next Sunday, March 26th.
The initiative takes place on the last Sunday of each month, between 10:00 am and 18:00 pm, and counts on the collaboration of traders from the historic area of Vila Real de Santo António who, throughout the day, will present products with sales and additional discounts.
To this end, each participating establishment will be identified with the initiative's logo. At the same time, downtown will have entertainment throughout the day.
The name of the event, “White Sunday”, follows the principles of “Black Friday”, allowing shopkeepers to sell their stocks, on the last Sunday of each month.
«The action represents a unique opportunity to promote the municipality and its historic center and continues the strategy of asserting the Open Air Shopping Center of VRSA among the local population, as well as in neighboring Andalusia», says the municipality.
In order to broaden the dissemination of the initiative among traders, the main hall of the VRSA City Council hosted this Monday, March 20, a clarification session that was attended by the president of AECV, Luís Camarada, and the deputy - Mayor of VRSA, Ricardo Cipriano.
