The Portuguese Red Cross (CVP) is registering an increase in requests for help and alert to the worsening cycle of poverty in Portugal.
In 2022, requests for help from families in a highly vulnerable situation increased by 74%, this organization announced today.
«There are more and more stories of those who are no longer able to pay food and rent for the house, finding themselves at risk of becoming homeless.
