Algarve 2030 Monitoring Committee met for the first time

The first meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Algarve 2030 Regional Program took place this Friday, March 24th. 

At the meeting, the Internal Regulations and the selection criteria for candidacies for SI Inovação Productiva and for the “TESP” and Educational Territories of Priority Intervention (TEIP) courses were approved.

In this session, held in Fátima with the other Regional Programs (North, Centre, Lisbon and Vale do Tejo and Alentejo) and with the thematic programs Compete 2030 – Innovation and Digital Transition and Technical Assistance, the necessary conditions were created for the launch of the first notices of the Algarve 2030 and for the effective launch of the programme.

During the session, the Algarve 2030 was presented to the Joint Monitoring Committee by the chairman of the Steering Committee of the Algarve Regional Program José Apolinário, after which a vote was taken on the internal regulations and selection criteria for candidacies SI Inovação Produtiva and Courses “TESP ”, all approved unanimously.

The Monitoring Committee is made up of the President of the Steering Committee, who presides over it, and by six dozen representatives of the coordination body of the cohesion policy funds, the certifying authority, the intermediate bodies, the services and bodies of the Central Administration, the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities (ANMP), the National Association of Parishes (ANAFRE), the Intermunicipal Community of the Algarve (AMAL), the Algarve Regional Council, the Permanent Commission for Social Dialogue of the Economic and Social Council (CES), the Permanent member of the Social and Solidarity Sector, the Intersectoral Coordination Council of CCDR Algarve, the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities (CRUP), the Coordinating Council of Higher Polytechnic Institutes (CCISP), the National Youth Council (CNJ), the Portuguese Confederation of the Associations for the Defense of the Environment (CPADA), of the Portuguese Platform of Non-Governmental Organizations for Development (ADRA NGO), Local Development Agencies (through the Minha Terra Federation), representative business associations in the Region (NERA and AHETA), the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), regional institutions in the area of ​​art and culture (Orquestra do Algarve) and the bodies responsible for promoting social inclusion, fundamental rights, the rights of people with disabilities, gender equality and non-discrimination.
