Canto à Cidade brought together tunas and a Secretary of State in Faro

The II Canto à Cidade – Meeting of Tunas in the Algarve took place this Saturday, February 25th, in Faro, and even the Secretary of State for Youth and Sports was entitled to a small performance by Feminis Ferventis. 

João Paulo Correia has been visiting the Algarve over the last few days and one of the points on his agenda was his presence at this tuna festival.

The “private” performance of Feminis Ferrventis took place with the delegation of the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth, in Faro, and was also attended by Custódio Moreno, IPDJ regional delegate, and Fábio Zacarias, president of the Academic Association of the University of Algarve.

The II Canto à Cidade also served to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first performance of Feminis Ferventis.

The event featured performances by Versus Tuna – Academic Tuna from the University of Algarve and TunaBebes – Mixed Tuna from the University of Algarve – Portimão Campus.
