Municipal Assembly organizes seminar on “Climate Change and its influence in Lagos”

Speakers are experts in the topics being debated

“Climate Changes and its influence in Lagos” is the theme of the seminar that will take place next Saturday, March 25, in the Auditorium of the Séc. XXI, between 15 pm and 18 pm, with several experts on the subject as speakers.

The seminar is promoted within the scope of the IV Jornadas de Lagos, whose motto is “Thinking Lagos at the crossroads of the future”, and which are organized by the Municipal Assembly of Lagos throughout the current municipal mandate of 2021-2025.

The IV Jornadas de Lagos will consist of thematic events on issues relevant to the Municipality, in particular, and to the population and its organizations, in general.

The speakers on Saturday's seminar will be Ricardo Deus, meteorologist at IPMA – Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, Francisco Ferreira, president of ZERO – Associação Terrestre Sustentável, Nuno Loureiro, assistant professor and researcher at the University of Algarve, Pedro Coelho, director regional agency of the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA/ARH Algarve), Luís Azevedo Rodrigues, executive director of the Centro de Ciência Viva de Lagos and also Vera Rosado, senior technician of the Technical Unit of Environmental Management of Lagos City Council.

Moderating this panel of speakers will be Fernando Ildefonso, coordinator of the Municipal Group “Lagos com Futuro” of the Municipal Assembly of Lagos.

The seminar is open to the public, with free entrance, and parking in the building's car park in the XNUMXth century. XNUMXst free.
