Pinheiro e Rosa students went to Turkey

Students «discussed and developed activities related to intolerance, budget management and the role of young people in society»

Six students from the 10th and 11th grades at Escola Secundária Pinheiro e Rosa (Faro), accompanied by professors Rui Poeira and Vasco Coelho, participated, from February 27th to March 3rd, in a mobility project called Erasmus+, Young Voices of Europe, in Istanbul, capital of Turkey.

Together with partners from Lithuania, Macedonia, Italy, Romania, Spain and the hosts, the students «discussed and developed activities related to intolerance, budget management and the role of young people in society», says the Agrupamento de Escolas Pinheiro e Rosa.

The students also had the opportunity to experience another culture up close, as they spent five days living in the homes of Turkish families.
