The Albufeira destination was promoted in two workshops held last week, in the cities of Porto and Vigo, the result of yet another partnership between APAL and the Municipality.
The objective was to make known Albufeira and the tourist offers, both for Easter and for the summer.
The promotional events included several APAL associated companies that had the possibility of making direct contacts with agents in these regions. Both actions included meetings with the press, local and regional entities.
In a note, APAL recalls that, together with the Municipality, it has been carrying out several joint actions, "privileging proximity markets, as recently happened in Seville".
«The aim is to promote the destination and provide the opportunity for Members to make contacts and do business with operators in these regions», says the agency.
For Desidério Silva, president of APAL, «this is yet another action that forms part of an Activities Plan where we seek, with existing resources, to implement a very effective strategy in partnership with the Municipality and Associates, in order to enhance Albufeira».
For José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira, «it is very important that the private sector can leverage the investment made by the public sector and close deals in these actions, as this is the essence of APAL, promoting and increasing the reputation of the Albufeira destination», says .
The next APAL action, scheduled for the month of May, will take place in Dublin, with a very similar format.
