Tavira holds decentralized Chamber meeting in Cachopo

Also to encourage public participation, the municipality of Tavira launched the cycle of “Open Presidencies”

The first decentralized meeting of the Council of Tavira will take place this Wednesday, February 22nd, from 10 am, in the Hall of the Parish Council of Cachopo. 

The objective of these meetings is «to promote equal opportunities in accessing democratic participation, in a logic of territorial cohesion and proximity».

Also to encourage public participation, the municipality of Tavira launched the cycle of “Open Presidencies” which also aims to promote the proximity of the municipal executive with the population, as well as their involvement in decision-making.

The first visit took place in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, with an action scheduled for this Thursday, February 23, in the parish of Luz de Tavira and Santo Estêvão.
