“Petit Pays” is the French film of the month to see in Portimão

“Petit Pays”, by Éric Barbier, is the French film of the month that will be screened this Thursday, January 23rd, from 21 pm, at the Auditorium of the Museum of Portimão. 

This is yet another session organized by the Group of Friends of the Museum of Portimão and Alliance Française do Algarve.

The film “Petit Pays” is adapted from the novel by Gaël Faye and tells the story of a boy who, in the 1990s, lives in Burundi with his father, a French businessman, his Rwandan mother and his younger sister.

He spends his time playing with his classmates until civil war breaks out, ending his childhood innocence.

Admission is free.
